PT Plus, Apex Physical Therapy Now Operating as ProRehab Physical Therapy

Six physical therapy clinics in Louisville, Kentucky are being rebranded, effective December 7, 2015, as ProRehab Physical Therapy (PRPT). The Hillview, Highlands, LaGrange, Middletown, Prospect, and River Road clinics, which have been operating under the names Apex Physical Therapy and PT Plus, announced their official partnerships with PRPT earlier this year.

Apex Physical Therapy’s co-owners Patrick Myers, PT, DPT, OCS, MS, COMT, and Nicholas Austin, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, and PT Plus’ co-owners David Boyce, PT, EdD, ECS, OCS, and Marcia Boyce, PT, CFO, and Eric McElroy, PT, DPT, OCS, will remain integrally involved, as will staff members at each location.

“We’d like our patients to rest assured that their favorite physical therapy clinic will continue to employ the same musculoskeletal experts they have come to trust,” said PRPT Partner Larry Benz, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, MAAP. “This local partnership is about providing Louisville with the best choice for outstanding, personable care. Patients should continue to expect the same friendly faces and the same great care, just a new name.”

“It’s an exciting time for us and we are grateful for the support of our staff. We look forward to extending the reach of high-quality physical therapy throughout the Louisville-area and continued growth under the ProRehab name,” added Myers.

In addition to services like hands-on physical therapy, pain management, orthopaedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, sports performance enhancement, and industrial medicine, all clinics will offer myPhysicalTherapist, a concierge physical therapy service that gives patients exclusive access to their physical therapist with a number of enhanced member benefits designed to manage health and wellness across a spectrum.

“We want to reassure our patients that a change in name doesn’t equal a change in care. We are thrilled to officially be operating under one umbrella and look forward to whatever the future holds for our combined brand,” said Boyce.

Additionally, ProRehab Physical Therapy offers AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® technology, Nike 360 golf training, and a medically supervised sports enhancement program to patients. They also maintain a sports medicine presence at Fern Creek High School, Simmons College, insert Triathon group, landsharks, skaters, etc. For more information about ProRehab Physical Therapy’s services and offerings, please visit https://prorehab.com.
