This year has been a comeback, of sorts, for entrepreneur and physical therapist Larry Benz.
He’d been under a noncompete agreement in this market for years after leaving Kentucky Orthopedic Rehab Team LLC, or KORT, which he built from a single clinic he opened in 1987. When he sold his interest in 2007, it owned and operated 35 clinics across Kentucky and Southern Indiana, about half of which were in the Louisville area.
His no-compete lasted more than five years, starting when he sold his interest in KORT. But now he’s back in the clinical physical therapy world here, with ProRehab Physical Therapy Louisville, a new eight-clinic company that reunites him with a few of his fellow KORT alums.
